The Computer Resource Center provides low-income adults with the opportunity to learn how to use the computer, software applications, and the Internet. Both classroom and open-labs are offered during the day. Classroom instruction is primarily directed toward job search and job readiness related activities.

Journey to Employment – Pathways to Success
The Empowerment Center’s comprehensive Journey to Employment program is a dedicated four-week job readiness program that uses our Computer Resource Center to train participants in the fundamentals they need to successfully apply for a job. It includes instruction on computer and internet usage, preparation of a resume, cover letter, and reference sheet, and interactive discussion and instruction through our Job Club. Bus tickets to and from the program are also provided (for program participants).
